Disclaimer: I don’t know if I can really say that any of these things are my favorites, but I did my best to answer the questions!
1. Growing up, what was one favorite item that you had to have with you at all times?
I loved my blanket, which was a blue quilt my mom got at one of her baby showers. I also had my doll, Baby Franny, with me a lot.
2. Being an adult, what is one favorite item that you have to have with you at all times, and what happens if you do not have it with you? Do you lose your sanity or just go back home to get it?
I like to have my C.O. Bigelow lip gloss with me, but if I don’t have it, it’s no big deal.
3. Where is your favorite place to be to just hide away from everything and breathe for a moment?
Our bedroom
4. What is your favorite thing about your partner? (If you don’t have a partner, then someone who is very close and will always be in your life)
I know this sounds silly, but I love the random songs he makes up. I also love his smile, kindness, intellect, and the fact that he is my best friend.
5. What is your favorite thing about your job? (If you don’t have a job, then what is your favorite thing that you do during your day?)
I love that I work within walking distance of our apartment.
6. What is your favorite lesson that your parents taught you growing up? Looking back, is it something that you want to use to teach your children when they reach that age?
I don’t know if this is a favorite lesson, but it’s been on my mind a lot the past week or so. My parents taught me that when other people are hurtful, it is usually because they aren’t very happy with themselves. It’s important to love them regardless – even when it’s hard. And yes, I want to teach our children that as well.
7. What is your favorite song, that will always bring a smile to your face and make you think of something happy?
Dont Worry Be Happy or Twist and Shout
8. What is your favorite things about being an American? (If you not American, what are you proud of in regards to your country)
I love the freedoms set forth in the Bill of Rights. I also like that stores are open late. Here…not so much.
9. What is your favorite meal that reminds you of being a child?
Kid’s cheese enchilada from Alamo Cafe – I still order the adult version! Dinner #6, yum! Speaking of, can someone FedEx me one? What? It won’t keep? Gah!
10. Name 3 things that other people would say are their favorite thing about you.
Oh, I don’t like questions like this. I would hope that people would say I’m reliable, a little quirky and I smile a lot, but I probably fall short of all of those things too often.
My favorite item is lip gloss or rather lip balm, too. Can’t live without it.
Happy Tuesday!
