Eww Beni! Maybe you should feed him a little at a time. I wouldn’t think it’s a big deal unless he’s throwing it back up.
Do you have a little table for him? We put Rookie’s food bowl o a box because I hear it’s better for them to eat from a raised bowl.
We have been looking for one but haven’t found any that are suitable. The little stools are just that — too little, and the raised food bowls they have here at the PX are cheap-o. Oftentimes, though, we just hold the bowl up for Beni to eat out of.
Our golden used to scarf food super fast, and William’s dog eats hers in less than a minute… must be a dog thing.
Glad to know he’s not alone!
I guess I am lucky that Yukon is a slow eater but than again he loves his cheese and just swallows that without chewing at all LOL.
Haha yeah, Beni loves cheese too. He’s also crazy for apples, carrots and ice cubes.
Sarah, that’s insane! Beni even puts our Janey’s fast eating to shame.
Eek yeah. He doesn’t respond to anything at all when he’s eating. The upside? While he eats, we can brush him without him trying to eat the brush (he really doesn’t like being brushed).
