Going Live

First off, I want to apologize  for not being more responsive these past 2 weeks. It all started with a transition checklist John and I created right after the New Year that we made to carry ourselves through getting settled back in the States. This list had specific tasks on it for tackling the rekindling of my photography business. Enter: obsessive need to get things checked off the list.

On January 4th, I began brainstorming on my business strategy. I wanted to have a concrete plan in place before moving forward. From there, I started creating a presence on the web, working on branding and building my website. Two weeks later, I pushed my site live. Yes, my business is now out there for search engines to pick up and for potential customers to view my work and hire me.

I’m amazed at how when your work is something you really believe in, it does not seem like work at all. I have been coming home from my “regular job” and working on my business until 10-11 PM most nights. Don’t worry, I do take a break to make and eat dinner. Monkey, John and I have to eat!

In case you’re interested, here’s what I have been working on: Classic Developments Photography.

I also have a Twitter account, @classicdevphoto, and Classic Developments Blog.
