1. I haven’t been swimming since before my family came to visit for Christmas. Shame on me. Does it count if I think about going to work out nearly every day? No? Rats.
2. AFN (Armed Forces Network) is showing limited Olympic coverage. This happened with the summer olympics too. I’m really disappointed.
3. We started Beni on a new food, which we are hoping is even healthier than the old food. Plus, it smells so much better, which means our puppy now has better breath. On top of all that, it’s about $20 less/bag. I think everyone is happier this way.
4. Yesterday was John’s older sister’s birthday. Happy Birthday (again), Catherine! We can’t wait until we can all celebrate our birthdays together in the same city!
5. When I woke up this morning, I felt like I had been in the deepest sleep all night. It was an incredible feeling, but all I’ve wanted to do the rest of the day is to go back to bed.
6. My mom is (hopefully) getting released from the hospital today.
7. In one month, we will have an hour and fifty minutes more sunlight in the day. Today’s sunrise/sunset times are 7:28 and 5:51, repsectively. A month from now, they will be 6:26 and 6:39, respectively. I’m looking forward to more sunlight and warmer weather! Also, a month from now, my friend and her sister will be visiting. Yay!
Does AFN still do really silly “commercials” the way that they used to? We were stationed in Japan when I was younger, and I still remember them, lol! That’s a bummer that they only show limited Olympic coverage! I guess it’s better than nothing, though.
Yes! They are ridiculous, and I am ashamed to admit that I’ve been here long enough that I find some of them fairly entertaining now.
Yay!! I made it in the top 7. Wohoo!! My dream is to make it to #1. 🙂
🙂 I hope you had a great day!
if you’re like me, the extra sunshine is doing your soul well. and i hope that your momma is doing better!
It definitely is – and thanks, she is doing better. She’s home and my younger brother came home to see her this weekend – plus it was one of my niece’s birthdays this weekend. Happy times!
I got excited yesterday when it didn’t start to get dark until about 5.30!. I’m so ready for winter to end! I used to enjoy winter because it was cozy but this snow has just been too much for me this year!
I completely agree. I can’ tbeleive how warm it was yesterday as well as this morning. Mid-40s? What’s that? 🙂
