I hope everyone had a good weekend. We sure did, but it went by too fast. We went bowling on Friday, went out to eat a couple of times and cleaned up around the apartment a little. We also updated our “About SoJo” page, so you should check it out!

For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been posting irrelevant videos at the end of my posts, but I had a new idea today. Instead of posting a new video daily, I’m going to start posting a video, photo or story from “back in the day” on Fridays. You’re welcome to join me in my new Nostalgic Friday if you’d like. You can ask John, nostalgia is one of my favorite things. I could spend hours looking at old photos! I’d love to see/hear your old stories as well, so if there’s interest in this, I’ll look into setting up something where people can link to their own Nostalgic Friday entries through my post.

It’s time for another “Not Me! Monday,” which is a blog carnival created by MckMama at My Charming Kids.
It wasn’t me who put away 3 vases this weekend that had been sitting out collecting dust for 8 months. Nope, definitely not me.
I haven’t had an insatiable sweet tooth for the past 3 weeks, so of course I didn’t have at least 4 Dove special dark chocolates on any given day this past week. Not me!
I am not so connected to my email that I checked Google’s Gmail every few minutes for a couple hours when Gmail crashed this past week. There’s no way I also watched Twitterfall for an exhorbitantly long time to see all the tweets from people around the world discovering that Gmail was broken.
I did not just link to 7 other pages/sites in this blog post. Not me!

Hi Sarah!! I can so relate to you about the nostalgia! Lol…I recently made my family tree. I tracked my family back to 1500. Before that time there were no documents. They have been living in the same place since 1500!! We are rock steady 😉
I dreamed about you guys last night. I dreamed that John and you were guiding me through Heidelberg. I’ve never been to Heidelberg, so not sure what I was dreaming but anyways it was really funny. Even now I know that you guys are probably coming to Holland in May, which is probably way sooner then I would visit you guys. Anyways, hope things are well there. Just had a job interview last week. I’m not sure how it went actually because I had to do a test with 19 other people. Most of them were at least 15 years older than I was….so…we’ll see.
It was a job at the government. I applied for a position as political reporter….(sounds VERY boring…but it was a good option and I kind of liked the job)
I’d love to hear some of your old stories (or stories of your family since you know so much)!!
That’s funny about your dream. One day when you make it down for a visit, you’ll have to let me know if Heidelberg is anything like it was in your dreams.
I really hope our trip for May works out! And hey, keep me posted on your job search. I hope you get a job that makes you happy!
