Snow Again?!

Shortly after John left for work this morning at 5:55 AM, it started to snow. It’s 2 PM now and still snowing. The last I checked (about an hour ago), about 1 inch had accumulated on the ground. This was using a very scientific method for measurement…aka I stuck my finger into the snow and looked at how much of my finger was covered in snow. Like I said, it was a very scientific measurement.

When I went outside the first time around 11 AM, I took some pictures. Enjoy!

Also, my brother’s family and sister’s family went in together to get us beautiful Wilton Armetale candlesticks for Christmas. We got candles for them and used them for the first time last night with our dinner.

There are more Christmas updates from Texas to follow, and I’m sorry I haven’t gotten them up yet. For some reason, John and I have had a terrible time getting over jet lag. Until yesterday, we couldn’t get off the schedule of sleeping from 2 or 3 AM until 11 AM or 12 noon (which is still essentially Texas time). Since John had to leave for work before 6 this morning, we tried going to bed at 10 last night, but both of us had a terrible time sleeping.

John woke up every hour, and I didn’t fall asleep until after 3:45 AM. Yuck. It doesn’t help that my premature atrial contractions (PACs for short), which have to do with irregular heart beats, have returned in full force. They make it hard to relax and go to sleep. Hopefully they will go away soon, like they usually do!

  1. Boo for PAC’s. Sorry about the sleeping schedule. I am not a fan of staying awake all night. The snow looks really cool, I miss it in a sick way. The weather here is 40, 20, 80, 10, 100, etc. I just want some constant weather.
