My First Not Me! Monday

Thanks to John and a post awhile back from Jackie, I have started following “MckMama’s” blog. On Mondays, she posts what she calls “Not Me! Mondays.” She describes it as a post “where we can be brutally honest with each other, and live to tell about it, while we shroud the severity of our statements by pretending we so did not really do them!” I thought I’d give it a go this time, so without further ado, my first Not Me! Monday.

When we went down to get our laundry out of the dryer last night and found out someone had rudely taken our wet laundry out of the dryer and placed their comforter in there instead, I definitely didn’t consider getting the comforter soaking wet all over again.

I haven’t been putting off reading for my 2 spring classes for the past 2 weeks. (Hey, who wants to read a 600-page account of the Chinese Revolution?)

I didn’t wait to shower and get dressed until 11:30 AM today. I also didn’t pass up the chance to get our apartment clean ALL last week.

Finally, I didn’t drag my feet to the gym to my first workout in approximately one year.

  1. I so would have soaked that comforter! 🙂 But I’m evil like that…. Happy Not Me Monday

  2. Yeah…my husband & I had to calm each other down over the incident. We were also (not) annoyed to find that the comforter owner hadn’t claimed their dried comforter by the time our laundry was finishing drying around 11 PM.

  3. Ooh, I wanna play! I definitely don’t avoid bathing altogether on Sundays, preferring instead the comfort of jammies and the couch.

And I would have gotten the comforter wet again.
